Does Audiobooks Make Us Smarter? Or is Making Us Less Aware?

--

Now let’s talk about benefits that are exclusive to audio learning, talking audiobooks at the moment, but podcasting anything, anything would be a factor here.

That is auditory learning, both audio and physical learning do improve language skills, but audio also improves language skills to the extent that we get to learn how to pronounce things at a faster rate.

Some studies indicate that it does improve time management to listen to audiobooks. I’m not sure if that’s because you’re listening to audiobooks while doing other things, but that’s there have been indications of that and of course, listening to audiobooks, builds critical listening skills, which is something that we we as humans fail at.

Have you ever been in a conversation with someone and then your mind just wanders and then you realize you haven’t been listening to their very personal and important story to them that makes you a bad friend?

Listen to audiobooks. They say that lightly. But truly, audiobooks do improve.

Our listening comprehension skills, which is a valuable skill in life going back to the personal side of things, are some personal benefits and deficits that I have with audiobooks.

I obviously appreciate audiobooks for multitasking. I’m someone who extremely loves reading. I’m a big avid reader. I love stories and I love consuming stories in this format in book Format.

I do prefer physical reading personally, but I love and appreciate audiobooks because when I love a story and I just want to live in that story and I want to experience it, I wanna let that story envelop me throughout the entire day. I could be physically reading for a while, and then I need to go cook dinner.

Being able to switch over to the audiobook and still be able to experience the story is great for me. I’m still experiencing the same.

Sorry, I’m still loving the same characters. I’m still able to love this story that someone has written for me, regardless of the format, and I love that I can switch back and forth as my day needs me to.
